Chapter Thirty

Serenity finds herself being questioned by the air marshals. They ask to test for gun powder residue. Serenity agrees and also explains how she got blood on her hands. They ask for identification card and passport to verify who she is. Serenity gives them both, nervous not because she’s done anything wrong but because she needs blood and doesn’t have any sources here since she is not allowed to touch federal agents. Serenity is getting light-headed and dizzy because it’s been 12 hours since she last fed.

“Thank you for your cooperation, your story checks out, Miss Capulet. You’re free to go,” said one of air marshals.

“Miss Capulet, are you alright? Can we get you anything?” asked the air marshals

“Only if you know where I can get free blood,” said Serenity.

“Sure, come with us we will get you set up with the hospital staff for an immediate blood transfusion. We may be back with more questions when you’re better,” said the air marshal.
